The story is about a family that adopted a chimp. The chimp actually grew up thinking it was a human because it had never seen another chimp before.
Lucy is human like by how she uses human tools and how she thinks of herself has a human because she's never seen another chimp. The transition for Lucy was very difficult because Lucy was so use to being a human that she didn't even want to try to become a normal chimp.
I will remember Lucy as more of a human because she spent most of her life as one.
I feel that if she wasn't Killed by poachers then she would have fully adapted to being a real chimp. I will take away the knowledge that what ever you grow up around you will learn the live of whatever animal you are living with.
A Seminole County jury found 22year-old Evangelista Lopez guilty of first-degree murder. He was in prison for 19 and a half years. what convicted him was severeral people saying that they saw him kill her. there was no other proof that he killed here except the testimony from two people that thought that they saw him kill her and the women had skin under her nails and Evangelista Lopez had scratches on his face. what led to his exoneration was he wrote a letter to a place where people test the DNA found at the crime scene. we had to learn that we can actually tell with a more realiable source who did what crime and who didn't. I will take away the knowledge that if i am bding tried for a crime that i wont be put into jail without a fair trial. this story actually hasn't changed my impression on our legal system because this was all before DNA testing was invented. everything is way more strikt now.
The artical I read was "Individuals with Family History of Genetic disease at risk of Discrimination". What it said in this artical was that people with a family history of genetic deseases are being treated badly by insurance companies and "friends". I really think that this is terrible because these people are treating people badly about something they cannot control or had any part in it. This artical was really interesting because Colleen read it to me and because if your trying to get your child insured and they find out that your children might have a genetic desease then your child won't be insured untill they know he does have any deseases.
I drew this picture because it shows a picture of genetically modified corn and it expresses that science has changed corn so much that it is huge and is alive. the reason i drew this is because this is the only worry I have about science and our food. I am worried that we will change our food so much that it can actually start to attach and kill human beings.
